6.9x5 concentric and SENSitivity

Has anyone noticed that you can crank the SENS "down" to 3 or 4 notches and still be digging 8" deep with the small concentric??? I find the detector is even more stable at the lower settings...I only turn it up to check targets I get no VDI ID on...The more stable the Pro is, the more happy I am....

I do not have the smaller concentric but do have the 9x12 and I find the same thing with it.

I have the 6.5x9 concentric on my Atpro. I have never used the stock coil. I run sense at between 1 and 2 from max. been basically clad hunting this season so have not worried much about depth. I do really like that coil. I may put the stock coil on it next season. kinda be like having a new detector:happy:
 
Where I hunt, I would rather have the separation over the depth, then I can go for depth AFTER I have cleaned out all the masked targets...

I'm running 5 on my sensitivity all the time, any higher I get allot of falsing in the ground I'm hunting in, even when GB perfectly.
