6" 7.5 khz coil to be released in mid-2007! Early Summer.

I got an email from Dick Shultz today and he said we will be getting a 6" 7.5 khz coil for the X-Terra models in mid-2007, early Summer. I'll just use my GT and Sun Ray S-5 until then. I am definitely keeping my X-70, it's a lot of fun to use. HH everyone!

of course, rumored to be in development somewhere north of Vegas. I have only seen a few fuzzy long distance amateur photos but it looks like a winner. A totally new concept, not VLF it penetrates to 18" in any ground type even old RR Depots. So high powered it is reported to leave shock diamonds in its wake on every sweep.

The First 6" coil will be a "Concentric" 7.5khz, but, Minelab also intends to follow that with another small "DD" coil. That is Great news! I have my GT with the S-5 coil and Patriot meter until it comes out, so, I won't be parting with my X-70. HH,

Some people prefer concentrics and others DD coils, so it looks like eventually they are going to take care of their customers.
