6 1/2" oval coil

I use mine almost all the time and have had very good results.... it just takes longer to do an area but its worth the time. HH

Thanks for the imput guys, I also have the 6 1/2" oval and does really good, just trying to decide if I should get the 5" DD. Good hunting. John

John, I had the same dilemma for a while, I have the 61/2 oval, and finally decided to make the 61/2 do. From what I have seen posted, the 61/2 gets a little better depth and does do a great job in the trashiest of spots. I have dug dimes with it in the 7" depth range and in moist ground, a couple a little deeper. My ground is fairly moderate, so I just couldn't see any additional advantage. My 3 inflated cents worth, anyway. HH jim tn

Our soil here on the Texas Gulf coast is also very moderate, think I'll just stick with the 6 1/2" and maybe also get the 11" DD for better ground coverage in open fields, I've read some good reports on that coil. Good hunting. John
