6” Coil Report

To start off I’m by no means an expert detector but I have used my 800 almost daily for about 6 weeks. I have a couple favorite spots to go when time is limited and thought I had cleaned them pretty good. I finally got a 6” coil and every spot has given up 5 to 8 coins that were being mask. No silver but I’m shocked that I missed these. I feel that on small areas I’m going to use the 6 first, then the stocker for deeper targets.

Although I’ve had decent success with larger coils in most spots, the 6” coils for most machines seem to be that perfect size for really turning on that “laser”. I’ve used one on a single freq Whites and 2 multi freq Minelabs and it’s quite amazing how accurate they can be. It was REALLY an improvement on the Whites, perhaps if you run the EQ in single freq it might have the same effect. For corn rows and under bushes? Super handy,to say the least! Glad you like it...

That’s a good idea, i was in multi and never tried single freq. I am fortunate to have old family properties close by to test on. I will try it out.
