Ok, I found trash but I also found more coin. I'm really liking this coil. Maybe it's just me or the places I hunted today .but it seems to find more than the stock coil. The 20 gauge shell brass was the best find though. An old Peters Victor paper shell. Couldn't resize my finds to uplode them.....
 
I agree, the 5x8 is a great coil and I feel it does find more than the stock coil. I think the main reason is because the coil is smaller and fits into tighter places and picks out good targets that are extremely close to trash targets. Target separation is way better than the stock coil in trashy areas.
