5X10 Joey coil

Anybody have an opinion on the Joey coil and how deep will go in moderately mineralized soil as well as any other opinions you may have.
 
Well it's a good coil, only draw back I know off is that they are not water proof, no shallow water hunting. Or so they where some time back?

The little SEF coil sure is worth a look to it seems.

Depth is good, 8" is no problem for me; but such deep targets are rare at my detecting spot. I use the Joey a lot, see my detecting movies on youtube. (PM'ing link)
