5x10 elliptical coil for non hot models

I cant find the 5x10 elliptical coil that are compatible with the compadre anywhere. I want to do the coil cable mod so I can interchange coils. I would like to try the elliptical coil on the compare. But it seems the only ones I can find are for the hot models aka cibola, vaquero etc. Has anyone seen the elliptical for sale for the 5 pin tesoros. Thanks

you can use the sharpshooter, for the silver umax , but with a fixed GB on the compadre it may not function very well so you should to the GB mode to I have been using the sharpshooter on the silver umax and i had a GB put on and it works great especially in the more difficult ground Gold diggers sells them for silver umax. nice for you to put a gain mode on to . you will have a real nice machine .

@ Gunnar, thanks for your input regarding the 5 pin Sharpshooter coil as i am seriously thinking about buying one for my Laser machine which is a machine made by Tesoro for the UK market,a real deadly machine on really trashy roman sites, almost certain the Sharpshooter could even improve it even more.

Thanks for your input.

Ahh yes the nel sharp shooter that would be perfect. Yes I'm doing the GB pot along with the sensitivity pot as well. What is this gain mod, is that the same as adding the sensitivity pot ? Been tuning up my desoldering and soldering skills, and i ordered some new tools. With 3 feet of snow on the ground in new Hampshire I still have some time...lol.....

JJdigs, yes same thing, yes with that GB mode, you will seriously improve the silver and the ability to change coils and adapt to changing conditions you got to let us know how it turns out , I also would highly recommend the Tesoro 7" widscan its a DD to and would do better in brush as it will not snag on branches, but the nice thing about the NEL 5.5x9 is its so easy to see your pinpoint . both great coils and the concentric will rock in the average to mild ground , and go deeper

How do you ground balance with out a threshold volume. Do you ground balance the same way as you normaly would. Do people prefer the 3 3/4 turn or 10 turn pots? Any real difference in performance. Thanks guys
