I know that current MDs by Whites lists the specifications including the weight of the units. I have an older 5900di Pro and would like to know the weight of this unit. Any response would be greatly appreciated.

Why don´t you just wheigh it on a scale ??

I have a 5900 DI Pro SL, not sure what it weighs, but it is not light. Every time I think I should sell it, I take it out for a hunt and am reminded why I will never sell it. Here is a picture of about a 3 hour hunt on Tuesday, this thing loves dimes and quarters.

I am an absolute fan of my 5900 CB, the latest version, mine was made in 1994. This machine when set up with a straight rod set up is really well balanced. I made my 5900 a straight rod set up the easy way, ordered a Tall Man's lower rod. The Tall Man's rod is a carbon fiber rod and eliminates the lower rod and the 'S' rod. It is well balanced rig when an 8" ProScan or Royal coil is on the end.
