5900 QUESTION...

I have been using the 5900 DI Pro series,with handle on top and would like to know if there is a difference between this machine, in field use, then the newer ones with the dark blue control boxes.....Thank You
 
Clarify..Do you have the older 5900 with the handle on top of detector. Or do you have an SL rod 5900
If you do not know what i am asking look on the for sale forum..Look at PaulVW post..That is the older back in the 80's 5900.
