5900 pro sl

thinking of reativating the 5900 pro Sl & wondering other than the 9.5" coil that came with the unit, what other coils are compatible? I am from Pacific Northwest & although my main detector is another brand, I was thinking of pulling the 5900 pro out to re-educate myself again with it but want to know other options for coils.

Thank to all in advance

Hi silverstick

That 5900 DI Pro SL is one sweet machine, I know, because I have one, mine is one of the last ones made and is the CB version "composite board". I like to use one of the 6 & 1/2 inch coils on mine, because you can dial in more signal ballance to the machine and it does not lose too much depth compared to the stock 950 coil. Also this coil is better in the trashier places that I hunt in, It seperates well! If yours is a later version, you can use the BM600, 5.3 Blackmax or the currently produced 5.3 Bullseye coil.
