570 Vibra Probe pinpointer

To those using the new 570 pinpointer.... have you had any problems with them?
Mine died on me over the holiday and I had to send it in for repairs under the warranty.
It just started acting different and then stopped working altogether.
I did like the pinpointer while I had it and hopefully it is just a minor problem.

I have one seems to be OK, also have a 560 that died the first week I had it the shaft seal had a pinhole and let water in sent it back took about 2 weeks turn around but has been fine ever since. Dan

Is there much difference between the 560 and 570? Quite a diff in the price between the two. Wondering if the 570 is worth the extra $$

This is the only pinpointer I have ever owned, but as far as depth/ performance, my buddy has the 560 and he tried mine out and stated that it seemed to detect deeper than his did.

I did an air test on a quarter and it was better than twice the distance. Dan

Whats the distance on a quarter for either or both of them?

The 560 hits at just over 1 inch - the 570 is just over 2.3 inches so better than double . Dan
