A number of hunts and finds since my last post.....wish I had a camera on a couple of hunts. I got overtaken one day by a pod of 6 Manatees passing on both sides within feet of me, another day newly hatched sea turtles making their way down the beach and into the water right in front of me and yet another...got buzzed by a 6 foot shark that later cleared the beach with people yelling, SHARK, get out of the water!! The beach workers said there were two Bull sharks swimming the sandbar.
A few hunts here from a number of different beaches had me swinging the coil for @ 7 hours each day. I loaded up the pouch with coin, junk jewelry, 3 silver rings, 1 earring and a 925/14k cuff bracelet. It came to a total of 56.5g of 925....Bracelet 35.2g, big band 9.3g, silver onyx 7.0g, hope band 2.7g, earring 2.3g :)
The Camera was a deep one right at the shore line at low tide, almost gave up thinking it had to be a can. Nothing is salvageable even the memory card is trashed...I was hoping to see a giant wave smashing the lens at the point it was lost..LOL.
I'm in the market for a new camera...., figures all these photo moments happen when I do not have one with me :rage: These pics are taken with an old one that the lens needs to be forced out by hand or I have to use a magnifying glass in front of it. New camera, better hunt pics next time....GL ALL

Man, Bob your living the dream. And you know where to hunt. Finds like that isn't just luck. Good fer ya !

Thanks Dancer...I'm just lucky enough to live minutes from a number of great beaches that are vacation destinations,..... and it helps that I've been single the past 4 years, semi retired/self employed, and use a Xcal 1000 ( sweet detector ) more often now than the Dual Field ( also a great detector ) I used for 3 years. So much time is saved being able to cover more ground while digging possible good targets instead of trash. GL
