550-D Manual or just a quick run through of tuning ...

Weirdneighbour

Hiya ... new to this/these forums ... i bought, with my father, a Fisher 550-D back in late 70's (early 80's?) for $450 ... it still works but i am not sure of the tuning procedure. As i have no idea where the manual is, i am wondering if there is one out there some in .PDF etc ..
It has been awhile since i have used it ... i think i am doing it right, holding head off ground, handle button in, tune, release button, let head go to ground and re-tune depending on which way needle on meter goes... Thanx in advance ...

Have A 555-D manual, same series machine, Ground Comp knob on mine is 2 part coarse and fine ADJ but the rest should be almost the same. You'll have to send me an e-mail cause you can't send file on here. Its PDF format.

Also I tried to send you a message but said you were not a message recipiant.
