505 coil false readings

lost Hunter

New member
well today I called 1ST Texas about my 505 to see what they found out, I was told it was the search coil giving all the false readings
So it's on the way back to me with a new coil I hope it's fixed now :clapping: so I can get in on the action:detecting:

Jim,
I hope that fixes the problem for you, because the 505 is really a great machine. If you are not worried about covering 2 football fields every time you hunt and are hunting in trashy areas I would strongly recommend getting a four inch coil as well if you do not have one. I really like my 4" coil and can hardly stand to hunt with the 8" on there now.

I hope the new coil fixes the problem.
