$500 + dollar cent

Close AM in America listed in the cherry pickers guide for over $500 will entertain any reasonable trade or cash offer. Worst I can do is say no just shoot me an offer. Thanks coop

Proof coins are sonically sealed at the mint for good reason, because they are proofs. Now that it has been opened and touched, the grade of your coin is classified as Proof like Brilliant Uncirculated.

Is this the same?

1999-S Type I Reverse Lincoln Cent - Certified Proof-63 Deep Cameo Or Better $199
On the circulation (business) strikes an unknown but limited amount of proofs, the AM of AMERICA is close together and virtually touching (which creates a wider space between the M and E of AMERICA). This die also features the designer's initials "FG" which are spaced well away from the building. In addition, the three rectangular posts on the three lowest steps (at either end) much larger than on the standard type II proof style reverse.

It would still be a proof (method of manufacture) coin but the value would be greatly decreased. Same thing happens when you put your fingers on one.

Very true, The coin never should have been handled but no damage was done. My friend handed me the coin and asked if I noticed anything different about it. I said i didnt and then I took the pics to see if I could notice anything when I uploaded on to my computer, Still didnt notice anything different from any other cent.. Then he told me what was different about the coin and showed me the value in the cherry pickers guide. I then congratulated him on his find dipped the coin in 100% pure acetone to remove prints and then placed in a holder. 100% acetone will remove new prints and oils with out damaging the coin at all. I also never tried rubbing the coin with any type of cloth to remove prints. I will guarantee the coin is fingerprint free and free of all damage and will get slabbed as so. or money back.

This is the funniest post ever! All over a penny too! Wonderful! Hope you get your five large cindercoop!

Not trying to get $500 just a reasonable offer!!!!!!! Don't understand why everyone's trying to mess up what could be a very good deal for someone. I was only looking to get right around a $100

SSCINDERCOOP

May I suggest you re-list your item? That way all the messages would not accompany your item. (To be honest I thought you were asking $500 and that is why I asked the earlier question because I thought I was missing something)

:)

Congrats on the sale Coop..... enjoy your videos my friend.
