Sorry Warty, but I can't help but think that God says "There is no peace for the wicked."
I have followed the Kennedy's over the years and I never ever saw the slightest evidence of any Christ likeness in that man and, sad to say, lots of evidence to the contrary.
I remember that day quite vividly and felt sorrow that such a thing could happen. It was a tragic end.
He was a capable man, a courageous man, a charismatic man, but the evidence shows him not to be a godly man.
God's grace is wonderful to those who call upon Him, but if you don't seek Him then the inevitable result is eternal loss, whether you be a King or a pauper.

Amen Nyal, as I certainly agree with your post! He and his family were Catholic but religion doesn't make a Christian only believing faith in Jesus saves the lost sinners' souls! Amen!

Ma...In the end,all that matters for each of us,is our taking Christ into our lives,and letting others see what is in us........Anybody trying to be a politician has to face such a powerful temptation of corruption,I sometimes wonder what kind of man I would have been,if politics would have been my calling....I am glad I didn't have to find out........
