50 Hours with ACE 350

Got my ACE 350 on March 4th - put about 50 hours into it so far. Never metal detected before - or owned a MD before.

The 350 has been great - I will say the sniper coil is a plus - it helped to land the liberty head dime in the photo (I thought it was a hearing aid battery when it popped out of the hole - I would have never thought silver would be that shiny after being in the dirt that long). Andrew Jackson $1 coin, some odd medal that says Republic Francis, and a small gold plated necklace pendant that isn't worth a dime... but got us pretty excited...

Probably got about $40.00 is clad...

Who says the 350 is a "relic hunter"

Nice bunch of clad.
It will clean up easy with an inexpensive
Harbor Freight Rock Tumble, White vinegar,
and a heaping spoon of salt. Cleans up like
new in an hour or less. Would take you at
least 10 to 12 hours WITHOUT the salt. Run
it a second time for about half hour to rense
the salt.

DON'T DO THIS WITH OLD SILVER
coins as the value will drop if you do.

very nice...i use the 350....and yeah im to the point where i dont take the sniper off of it.....i seem to dig to much trash with the dd coil. way to go...grea finds !!!
