50 coin day: when tradition is not followed!

From the land of the Bluenose...knew I was in for it as Marie was not at home to wave to me as I went to work. Ritual or superstition it didn't matter as an air of doom and gloom hung over my head and I couldn't shake it! First trip around the airport hanger line and it happened. Went to check India gate and my patrol vehicle had a fight with the bucket from a front end loader. My pc now has a nice new crease along the passenger side door. Lord love a duck. How in the halibut had I hit such a big thing!

Anyway today I made sure I followed my ritual and made sure that I said bye to Woodie Digit like I do before every hunt. Think he had a splinter in his butt today.<center><img src="http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b6cf37b3127cce8f6adf445a1a00000016108AcM2bhk4ZN2"></center>

Hit a local soccer field that now looks more like a swimming pool on a rather crappy day.<center><img src="http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b6cf37b3127cce8f6adf5bdb3500000016108AcM2bhk4ZN2"></center>

The old Garrett started chirping as soon as I turned her on and the coins came at a good pace. Within an hour and 20 had my quota of coins and two wet feet to boot...........speaking of ........should have worn my Kermit ones! Did manage a pair of Netherland coins and to my surprise 1926 penny at this location.

Decided then to hit the Dingle which was rather stingy.<center><img src="http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b6cf37b3127cce8f6adf5fdb3100000016108AcM2bhk4ZN2"></center>

A group of rugrats had invaded the park and were flopping around like a fresh catch of macheral on the deck so I headed for the high ground in the wooded area and was greeted by this sign!<center><img src="http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b6cf37b3127cce8f6adf465a1800000016108AcM2bhk4ZN2"></center> Looked hard but couldn't see any Rambo lurking about!

Found a few modern pennies but that was it. Total for the day was 2 Nederland coins, 1926 penny and 76 coins @ $7.26 <center><img src="http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b6cf37b3127cce8f6adf585a0600000016108AcM2bhk4ZN2"></center>

Good day for a duck, Les. Bad day for a truck. Love to see pics of your area.
