From the land of the Bluenose...with my head still ringing from Buds visit I poured myself out of the bed and happened to pass a mirror. Scary...how scary you ask? So scary that Marie was thinking of renting me out to haunt houses.
After serving her breakfast in bed it was off to the south shore to meet up with Makinholes at Tim's. He arrived shortly after I did and I handed him his French vanilla. From there it was off to the school I had attended as a kid.
School brought back fond memories of dances, track and field and of Paula and her horse laugh who always carried a pair of soccer balls in front of herself...first love...lol!<center><img src="http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b6da29b3127cce88d53b31adbd00000016108AcM2bhk4ZN2">/center>
As you can see the day was not a pleasant one but what the halibut Makinholes and I wanted to go "beeping" as he calls it. Pennies were coming at a rapid rate till I ruined it pulling out 2 silver rings. Makinholes retorted shortly thereafter finding two silver rings in one hole. Bouy did quite the jig when he was calling me over to have a look.
Tired of pennies we adjourned to Tim's where he won a coffee on roll up the rim and shared a sandwich with me.
The island was our next stop!<center><img src="http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b6da29b3127cce88d53b33adbf00000016108AcM2bhk4ZN2"></center>
Coins kept on a coming and Myles dug up his third ring of the day as well as his third button. Added a ton of coins and a 1964 dime to my pile. By the end of the day both of us were tired but happy. Here is Makinhole's pile!<center><img src="http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b6da29b3127cce88d53b8c2c3000000016108AcM2bhk4ZN2"></center>
My take for the day was 2 silver rings, 1964 dime, chain and glass thingie, modern Ottawa token, kids ring and 195 coins @ $9.25. Failed to mention that this wingnut also found one.<center><img src="http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b6da29b3127cce88d53b3dadb100000016108AcM2bhk4ZN2"></center>
Let Makinholes fill you in on his numbers. Some sore and glad that work tomorrow has me wearing an orange vest so that I can be a pilon and play in the traffic. Good outing with a good fellow.
