From the land of the Bluenose.....Gilles at work had one more day before the closing date on selling his old house so I had to make the trip to do the dew. Pat and I headed out after a fill up at Tim's and in no time arrived at Gilles' having taken the scenic route.

Digging here was hard as there was a lot of junk and the only thing of note found was a 1946 dime. From there we mooooooooooooooooooed

along to Walton where I stopped to get my 50 coin fix. On holy ground I hit my quota and reflected upon how much I missed umping and
playing ball and that all too soon it would be time to dig out the hockey gear once the ground is frozen and one cannot swing a detector.

Pat was busy during this time collecting rocks and smooth glass fragments along the shore which she will use for an art project.

All in all a nice pleasant drive and day which netted me 50 coins at $7.22 including the 1946 dime and a few kiddie things!

In case you can find where...giving these away for a prize in a contest!

C'mon mate - dont do that! Wheres the contest!

Nice day of it and what a super old house. Id hate to think I only had one day to hunt that one. Neat ball field. Ours are so organized and close trimmed - its annoying.
