50 coin day: hourly wage for digging good today

From the land of the Bluenose...woke up to the sizzling sound of bacon and the smell of freshly brewed coffee. Knew at that instant that I was in for it....... shopping trip a coming for sure as halibut lay on the bottom. Son of a sea horse I was hungary and was cleaning out my wallet while waiting for breakfast. Um..............found $20 tucked away and made the mistake of mentioning it to Marie who palmed it quicker then any magician I had ever seen. Women all over seem to have that knack! Small price for bless in the household. Of course this also ment that I had Goquickski for the day.

Donning my Russian furbee and an extra layer of clothes I headed to a local school/playing field (wouldn't go near the woods with that hat on) with Goquickski a bucking since I didn't let her warm up on a not too nice day.

Nothing of note found but was a great day for non penny coins as I dug up 54 @ $14.48 (net loss for the day a mere $5.52) in the hour 10 minutes that I was out. Now to sneak out of the house and to work before Marie sees the mess of my clothes! Of course my "domestic duties do not include doing a wash since I "accidently' turned everything pink once. Call that career pathing.

Man, what I would give for $1 and $2 coins here in the US. Oh I know we ahve $1 coins, but I bet none of you have any in your pocket right now. They just dont get around lik that Canadian ones.

You learned two good lessons today. Les. Keep mum when you have money and always screw up the laundry.

Nice day of it. Thanks

I've got some in my pocket, the first ever. I bought some stamps out of the machine at the Post Office and it gives back your change in dollar coins. Now I know where a good supply is.

Bill

I knew someone would say that - but, you know what I mean. It seems like the Canucks throw them at each other.
