50 coin day: holy mackerel I got the boot

From the land of the Bluenose.....well for the 2nd time in 33 years at this hobby I got kicked out of an area. Apparently I wondered out of the park onto private property.

. I apologized and promptly left. Darn was a good spot too as I picked up half the day's quota in what was her backyard. Such is life. Son of a seahorse!

Did a tactical retreat to the kloof on the other side of the lake and took in the view

before heading into the wooded area and becoming one with the trees and hill...a mountain goat in other words. This was a good thing as the first coin here was a 1967 silver macheral dime followed by a ton of bottle caps.

.

Had about enough of slipping and sliding after about 45 minutes so hit another park close by and picked up a first for this bouy...a 20 cent Spanish Euro coin. Almost had the big one as I first thought it was a gold coin.

Time was running out way too soon as the "boss" had to be picked up and due on shift for the other boss at 1700 hrs. Man if it moves call it sir and salute it.

Total for the day was the 1967 silver macheral, euro and 59 coins @ $4.77

Great story Les. I had that happen to me once too - little did I know I was violating someones space!

Hey Leslie, Enjoy the pictures and story, but what is that building in the lake? Also ,how come you get so many foreign coins? I am at a vacation spot and I have only gotten 2 foreign coins.

To bad you had to leave that spot sounds like it still holds a lot of items.

Nice outing and great photos !
