From the land of the Bluenose.....well it was one of those "Make laudry project for Marie outings" as the day was dark, dank and drizzly which to say is just the kind of day this Bluenoser loves to get out there and get at em!
Though I'd try once again for some oldies and started at the far side of this.

Was a really wet one and another day I was glad to have the foresight to wear my Kermits although the nice blue Columbia rainsuit Marie had picked up for me stayed in the closet.
Got this neat shot at water level as I was navigating across the lock part of the dam towards the far end that is a notorious spot for teenage drinkers.

Had to be careful digging here as there was broken glass all over the place. Dug up a few pennies when, like a crow spotted a small shiny object that my Garrett gave a little beep on. Pulled on it and out came a nice bracelet that some poor youth in an alcoholic state had probably lost.
After digging up a few more pennies my second set of batteries went dead. Man o man and I was in the groove big time not too mention soaked to the bone and as Maxwell Smart used to say, "And loving every minute of it." A friend at work had given me a box of batteries that he said were good....and they were for about a half an hour a set. Was forced to retreat home and get a fresh set of batteries and chow down on some "do or die" chili that I had made the other day. Went down some good youz while watching "Alien vs. Predator" which sort of reminded me of a day at work at the airport. Back there tomorrow on nights so I wanted to take full advantage of the day. Geared up and went out to a local playing field where the bouys were having a field day with the spray paint. Think the bouy that did this dugout was showing his feminine side!

Here the penny parade stated rather quickly in the quagmire and I must have been a sight with my kermits and lobster gloves on and coered in mud. Run the Garrett Freedom 3 Plus on max depth with no discrimination and got a weak signal and after a major excavation pulled out a nice little 925 ring. After about an hour it was time to pick up the boss, drive her home, make her tea, make her supper, do the dishes, make the lunches for tomorrow and give her a peck on the check as she goes to the gym. Life is grand.
Take for the day was a key, a weight, golf ball (eyeballed) pocket knife, a silver ring and chain and 72 coins @ $2.94 which didnt even cover the coffee and bagel at Tim's while I was out!
