50 coin day: diamond "O" and silver coin

From the land of the Bluenose....thought I would hit a local lake that I have done a few times after work as it is close and the digging is easy. Was aghast when I arrived as once again the crows had overturned evey plug and I had to clean up that mess before starting a combo dig. With this accomplished I started doing the sandy area and hit a nice 1961 quarter just off the sand in the grass along with a host of pennies that will add to the tumbling pile this winter.

Being in another 7 12 hour days straight stint the energy level was as low as the batteries in the Garrett so I called it a day for the land dig and hit the water.<center><img src="http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b6d728b3127cce8d43c6273b2800000016108AcM2bhk4ZN2"></center>

Ironically I had only one target in the water as I had it it pretty hard over the summer.<center><img src="http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b6d728b3127cce8d43c6253b2a00000016108AcM2bhk4ZN2"></center> This little puppy sure made the day for this old tired bouy!

As you can see it it pretty similar to this find from last month.<center><img src="http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b6d607b3127cce8cf12befb94d00000016108AcM2bhk4ZN2"></center>

All in all a nice hour and a half outing with the total for the day being the ring, 1961 quarter and 70 coins@$4.02 Not shown is the loonie and 3 quarters that I used for Tim's....give me a break payday is not till Thursday!<center><img src="http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b6d728b3127cce8d43bc2bba2900000016108AcM2bhk4ZN2"></center>
