From the land of the Bluenose.....decided to do another combo dig so loaded everything into my six foot long custom made bag which barely fits in the back seat of Otto who needs a good bath after all the back roads we have traveled together recently.

Hit the Commons again gaining 36/50 for the quota with nothing of note save for watching the local "Heat" catching folks speeding on Robie St. by the droves. That was not the only heat on this day as the weather was finally showing signs that summer was here causing this bouy to sweat out a Bud a minute so after 36 coins I headed to Tim's for a brew and to change into my 3/4 wet suit. Was glad that I was going to a fresh water lake as those darn Green Peace bouys want to tow me out to sea everytime I go near the salt water. Must look like a pregnant killer whale to them.

Renewed with the coffee high I motored to my favourite swishing lake observing the speed limit the whole way knowing that the end of the month was rapidly approaching and quotas other then mine have to be reached.

Heading from the parking lot to the beach it hit me that this could be a perilous swish by the look of the sign (right power post)posted near the beach.

Shocking to say the least!

Undaunted I waddled into the water and began to swish to the chatter of my Seahunter Mk 11 and was amazed at how quick this lake was replenished with goodies. Almost had a heart attack when I pulled out what I thought at first was a diamond ring but on closer inspection it just didn't feel right and when I got home I used the magnifing glass and no hallmark was found.

End result for the day was two rings, a key, a fancy hook and 51 coins @ $4.85

Rest of the day was a disaster as we got royally "spanked" in our double hitter by the Browns. Bright spot was that while playing ball Marie gave Otto a complete inside and out makeover.........Otto is now a clean, mean . lean driving machine!

Nice haul Les. No hallmark is a good sign of a no gooder. But, a ring is a .................
