hi all,is the 5"x10" coil for the infinium waterproof or just showerproof?on my new coil it has a tag on the lead, not for diving.i'm only thinking of shallow water hunting, say knee deep.will this be to much? bye for now, blowfly

Oh yeah man, you can use it for wading. Just not for diving like the 10"x14"DD or both mono coils. The 5"x10"DD and 3"x7"DD can be taken down to about six feet (2 meters) under water like surf hunting or wading. The 10"x14" DD and 10"x14" mono as well as the 8" mono are rated for use at up to 200' depth.

The only thing about that 5"x10" (which, by the way, is one of my favorites) is that if there is any wave action, it's gonna want to be flapping up and down on ya on the front end. I just use a coil stablilizer for it if I'm gonna be hunting in the surf. Actually, since I got that 10"x14" mono about a year ago, I haven't used the 5"x10" much.

Best of luck to ya!:biggrin:Happy Hunting!:)
