5 x 10" coil on the F75 LTD/SE ??

Does this coil exist for the F75 line yet?

If Dave J. is reading this, are you guys planning to release any more coils for the F75 line? I have them all thus far, but I bet that 5 x 10" coil would be killer for hunting in bed of nails type of iron eh?

Thanks,
Brian

You know I thought about getting one as I just bought one for my Omega and G2 but it's not a whole lot smaller 10" vs 11" long but it's narrower by a good ammount maybe an inch on each side when laying them bottom to bottom against each other to compare the sizes.

It may be more sensitive in a way so I may just leave it on the G2 for jewlery in sand saw a video of depth where the 5x10 seemed to hit jewlery harder and deeper than stock coil. Still would like to give it a run on my Omega before I spring for one for my F75LTD.

The coils because the F75 and T2 states in the literature that it's one of the tightest field of detection in the industry and with their fast seperation capabilities and processing speed I think it may be a bit of a waste getting one myself. Unless Dave says differently I think I will save my money. Besides they came with the 5"dd coil already so got that to use if extremely, extremely trashy but even then you can just wiggle the 11" coil through there and get the good targets maybe turn sensitivity up or down play with that. Read somewhere that turning it up more helps in that scenario to distinguish good from bad targets so doesn't hinder the detector I guess it helps it more.

Just looking at the picture of the 10" elliptical for the F70/F75, it looks be about 5" wide. Just thought that may be close to what you are looking for, but it is not a DD coil.

Does anybody have one of the coils that could give us some good numbers?

I have one (for sale on this forum, coincidentally). It measures approximately 10" x 5 7/8", and works on the F70, F75 and F75 LTD. I began using it on my F75 on several sites that didn't have a lot of trash, and it did slightly outperform the stock DD coil...it added an honest 1" to a maximum of 2" on bullets, buttons, and the occasional coin. What I did like a lot is that it gives a very good, solid and sweet tone on the good stuff, kind of like my old Fisher 1266x. I'm selling the 10" elliptical coil only because I sold my F75 to get a Teknetics T2 SE, since my main interest is relic hunting, and the T2 SE seemed better suited for that. If they start making a similar coil for the T2, I'll get one.

Remember that it is a concentric coil, not a DD, and consequently it did not separate targets in trash as well as the stock DD coil. Not bad at all, but not quite as good as the DD.

Low trash = 10" elliptical concentric coil

More trash = stock DD coil

Hope that helps.
