We had an amazing cellar hole hunt this weekend using the VX3 and MXT Pro....and I decided to share our strategies in response to messages I have been getting. Thank you for watching - no ads, as always
P.S. Cellar holes are never "hunted out"
Hi! That's awesome!! I hope you find a ton of stuff w/ those 15 cellar holes!! Doesn't matter what machine a person uses, IMO, as long as you understand the one you have...hope you don't think I implied that you need an MXT or VX3 do detect!! Good luck & happy hunting to you!!

I've got about 15 cellar holes and privys to dig this fall but I don't have an MXT or V3i. I'll use another machine.
If you haven't tried one, I'm betting you'd like an MXT-Pro (with the right coil). I just pulled a '29 wheat from a well pounded city park with mine using the 5.3 Eclipse . . . from only 4" down. This tells me that everybody who has ever hunted this part of the park since the advent of metal detectors has missed this coin (the pitting proves that it has been buried a long time). I didn't consider it an "iffy" signal when I dug it - in fact, it rang pretty clear despite some nearby junk targets.
Hi Girl! I am subscribed to your youTube channel and love your videos (Girl Power!!!) the 5 steps one is great, any NewEngland detectorist should know that cellar holes are 50% of where the goodies are. I really loved watching the video where you dig that GW! I have found 2 myself since my detecting addiction started. If your ever in Southern N.H. Id love to join you for a hunt.
Hi!! Wow - another Southern NH digger and who is a girl?? That's awesome! I live in the greater Concord area...wonder how far apart we are! Congrats on your GW's...they are such an amazing relic to find! Thank you for watching and writing!! Girl power rules, lol
Hi Pete! Yes - I own two VX3's, an MXT pro, and an MXT All Pro. Love all of the machines, but the VX3 continues to be my go-to machine, in general. Sounds like you do amazing with yours! That's great to hear....happy hunting to you!!
Thank you so much, Kenny!! I am uploading a new one every Monday night. A lot of work for sure, but I love sharing history and this wonderful hobby we all enjoy. Thank you for watching & the kind words!
