5 silver 15 wheats, and a small cache wrapped in rag

man what a good day today, started off early this morning around 7am
was hunting at a repossesed house my realtor gave me permission for.
First silver of the day was a sterling ring. Wheat pennies were scattered all over the yard. Oldest was 1918, 1919, rest were 1936-1955.
3 mercury dimes were 1939, (2)1943, and one war nickel 1945

one of the neatest finds was the small cache I found, I got a signal that about blew my ears off, a solid 44 on my x-70, I thought maybe it was a pop can, but normally those don't register that high, so I dug down about 4" and found this little rag all wrapped up with 2 dollar coins both 1979 Susan B Anthony, 2 dimes, a nickel, a penny, and 2 tokens, one token was showbiz pizza...lol
but the other token was cool it was a sesquicentennial for Van Wert Ohio 1835-1985. Here is the cache as I dug it

The token cleaned up pretty good, I really like it, odd it is my town and I have never saw this token before

What a hunt you had there, you are on the finds like a mockingbird on a junebug. Goodness gracious alive! From the looks of your soil you have been getting some rain lately. Man is it dry here in Georgia. What was dirt is now dust, literally. I envy you for the area you live in and your persistance. Keep it up and you are probably the most likely to hit something really really big..........................

actually the dirt was dry as a bone, we have not had rain quite some time, we are suppossed to get rain today but it is not showing!

I was shocked about one thing. After I did the yard I went back over it again at a complete different direction and only got one more wheat. I must have really been thorough on my first pass. I do swing pretty slow and make sure to overlap my swings at least 50%

Wow what day you had...:hot:silver ring, token and the rag rap up with all them coins:yikes:Great hunt!WTG

I'm taking it for granted it was the 3 khz coil. If you have one and I think you do, hit it the second time with the 7.5 khz 10.5" DD. It will rake the yard good after you have cleaned it good with the 3 khz. It will be much faster on that second go too. I don't need to wish you HH, you are living it!

Wow! Congrats on an awesome hunt! The silver, the cache, and all! You are having a very good year hunting, Beale.

Man that site sure was productive!!!
I like the little coin cache.. even though not old, still a real nice find.
I wouldn't frown on it at all if I happen to find one.
I like the ring too.
I wouldn't be surprised even though you said you went over it from another direction and only found one coin, that there is not something else in there... don't write it off just yet my friend... may still be some goodies there!!
Congradulations,
Felix

Great hunt!!!!!
