5 ring day: 2 X 14k, 2 X Tungsten, 1 X 925 toe

After spending an hour this morning, with no luck, searching for a diamond ring lost 6 months ago off a dock in mud and oysters, I did another 6 hours at the beach with much better results. Within the first hour I got a 14k, 8.1g followed by a Tungsten Batman ring. Lots of coin and trash with a 925 toe made up the next 4 hours and capped off the last hour with another 14k, 7.0g (inscribed, no k mark, but acid tested at 14k), followed by another Tungsten. Great day of hunting with the Xcal in calm clear water. GL ALL

You had an OUTSTANDING Day. Congratulations. I also found two rings today. One Mood Ring and one stainless steel. I walked and worked for 7 hours for $205 in clad and the Junk rings. Not My Finest Day. But posts like yours keep me out there looking.

Thanks all...It was a good day!!
Four times this year I got a double gold hunt, twice this month,.......... but never hit the gold hat trick yet.
This was my seventh time out in the water this month, 3 times with the DH and 4 with the Xcal. Other than the two double gold finds the other outings just got junk jewelry and clad.....mostly pennies!!
