5 Pin or 4 Pin CleanSweep Coil?

I can't decide. Should I get a 4 pin CleanSweep coil to fit my Vaquero or a 5 pin CleanSweep coil to fit my Golden uMax and Bandido II uMax?

I'm leaning towards a 5 pin CleanSweep.

Somebody give me a push.

I liked the 5-pin CleanSweep I got for my Troy Shadow X2 so much, I went ahead and bought the 4-pin for my Tejon...The suckers are coin and ring magnets that cover a large amount of territory quick!

In your situation, I'd start with the 5 pin as you have 2 detectors that can use it. Then, If you really like it, add the 4 pin for the other detector.
My two bits.

I'm still thinking.

Presently I have 6 detectors and would like to get it down to four or less. I really like a lot of different types of detecting. Modern coin and jewelry hunting is what I do the most of, but I also really enjoy hunting for deep silver. Between the Gold Bug and Omega, I've done better with deep silver with the Gold Bug using a 11 inch DD coil. So I may be getting rid of the Omega, since the Golden uMax does such a nice job finding not so deep modern coins and jewelry. My Bandido is a pure joy to hunt with using zero discrimination. It's hot on gold and is plenty deep, but my Vaquero is deeper and is just as hot on gold. I enjoy hunting more with the Bandido though. Maybe it's the tone. The Vaquero is a high tone and might be a little too high for my ears. My Compadre excels in tot lots finding small items, but my Gold Bug with a 5 inch DD coil does just as well.

I'm glad I don't have to decide in a hurry. Maybe I need a few more detectors.

If the Bandido II has manual ground balance, then I would agree with Barber Bill....versatility, and the ability to get a bit more depth with the Bandido than you'll get with the Golden in some places. Whatever the choice, good luck.

A buddy of mine, diggler, was using his new Golden today with a CleanSweep and on the way back to our vehicles (we were out in what should have been the middle of the lake) he is CleanSweeping along and hits a huge mens 14k wedding band. This ring would slip off of my thumb! I was using my Tejon with the stock coil, I told him that would change quick...Tomorrow, It's Tejon CleanSweep time!

It looks like I'm going to have to break down and part with some money to get me a CleanSweep coil.

Which one tabman...The 4 or 5 pin? I was using the 5 pin on my Silver Sabre today...Found one very old button and several old shotgun shells at the Dried up Lakebed we have been hitting all summer. There is so much ground to cover and the CleanSweep can sure cover a lot of ground fast.
