Spent a total of 5 hours digging low conductors looking for my first gold with my CTX .Hunted a local school ball practice field and finally found the little 10K ring at about the 4 hour mark. Was 3" deep and read 11/12-10/11 and sounded great compared to all the slaw I was digging.Hunting in coins mode conductive 50 tones. Also got the 42 Merc at 5" in super shape except for all the scratches I put on her face getting her out of the baked clay soil.
Was 96 to 101 degrees and had to carry a big sweat rag to mop sweat with but well worth it:)

You earn that one .I have been digging more low connectives also mostly high 28 to 32 lots of coins masked in this range.

Congratulations on the gold Ray, it goes to show the good stuff is out there if one is willing to do the digging.....:clapping:

Congrats on the ring and the merc that's allot of digging but it was worth it HH:thumbup:

Congrats Ray.. man gold +1!

Good hunt Ray,

You certainly deserve both the merc and gold ring, despite the heat determination pays off with a couple of keepers.

Congrats,

Nice haul Ray. Your hunt is proof that persistent digging of low conductors will eventually lead to gold... and LOTS of pull tabs!
