I was really hoping the day would have been a little better than it turned out. Just the way it goes sometimes. Today was 5 hours of searching. I got a pocket full of change, and the silver ring. The little 1 cent piece is small....like I swore it was falling through the holes of my scoop. It is like 1/2 the size of a American dime. It isn't worth anything but thought it was kind of cool. Anyway, the beers tasted bettersitting there watching the sunset and checking out the ring. It was better than sitting there looking at empty hands. I feel like a kid waiting on Christmas. I have a older Excal waiting on me when I get home for Christmas.....1 month.....it feels like forever. I figure I can search the ash tray for the first couple of hours during morning, then get in the warm, beautiful, clear water during the day. I think if I put 5 hours in the water, like I do on shore, I will be a happy hunter. Hope everyone had a great Turkey Day. I would have loved to been at home having Grandmas Green Bean casserole. It would have been a nice change to Ox Tail, Turtle meat and Plantain. Not complaining, I have learned to love the food here. Although I'm loving the MD finds more.
Enjoy,
Chris
