5 fun days at Myrtle Beach..

6 nights with 5 full days of detecting at Myrtle Beach and I had a blast. I hunted mostly the chair line and down maybe 10 feet, I did do some wet sand when the tide was out but not much. That wet sand had fewer targets, the sloppy sand kept flowing back into the hole and the hit was mostly pull tabs so I didn't hit that area much. Of course the last few hours of the last day I walked the wet sand a swinging and found the silver ring there, the only good target of the week. I knew that's where gold and silver would be but still avoided it, oh well, live an learn. :detecting:

The picture of the fancy nice looking but total junk pendent was a heart stopper!!! Funny story there, when I got bock to the hotel room i did a pic and sent it to a coworker with "WooHoo, my vacation is paid for!!!" No response and I forgot about it, a few days latter he asked what I thought it was worth. so I text back "Fifty cents, junk bling bling LOL" his response "No way, I have been showing everyone at work." :crylol:

The picture of the machine that make those personalized aluminum tokens with the star in them middle kills me. I have been finding those on land for years and thought they were ALL from the forties, i guess NOT. :nopity:

And of course the mass pick of all the finds, lots of "TWO'S" 2 toe rings, 2 belly button rings, 2 cell phones, 2 sinkers.

The night before my last day of hunting there was rain and some good erosion, 149 coins that day. What a difference it made.

That's a great vacation!! NIce piece of fake gold too!! Wow!! That would shake me up for sure!

Like the picture of the ID Metal typer!! I have found those tokens on very old beach's here, they sure sound good and most are deep. None this year but from a few years ago. Now I know where they came from..

thanks for sharing.
