5" Excelerator Coil Compatible With Etrac??? Help!

GotSilver?

New member
Hello - I just bought a 5" Excelerator EQ2 Pro search coil for a great price on EBay. The listing described it as being for an "Explorer II". Also, the picture and decals on the coil looks like the one for the Garrett machines - different from the KellyCo EQ2 Etrac coils on their site today. Couple questions: Would the Explorer II coil be compatible with my ETrac? Did they make 5" Excelerator coils or is prob really a 6" coil? General thoughts? Thanks all....

As far as I know it would be a 6" coil and the eq2 is for the e-trac also, if that is what you have. I hope the coil is the right one for you. I have been thinking about the eq2, but they were not in stock at Kellyco, so I went with the 8x6 sef and it should be here today. Let us know how you make out.

I have the 5" coil you are talking about and It works with my E-trac.

From what I've seen all coils that fit E-Trac's can also be used on Explorer's and Safari's.
