That's when the new 3030 is scheduled to arrive. Getting pretty excited and wish it was here now. Any advice for statring that first hunt. I know read the instructions and watch the video's but I've been doing that. I'm thinking starting with one of the loaded programs and just seeing where that goes but any secret tips would be appreciated.

I've got a few pounded sites with a top layer of fill dirt and some trash that I'm hoping to pop something loose at.

I started with the coin program and when to a old school and hit the ball fields looking to find some clad and to learn the number and sounds. Done really good with in about two hour I have got some clad but I got some wheats and a Indian on the old foot ball field. Take that new 3030 and head out there and have fun and learn it. The CTX is a awesome detector. :twodetecting::minelab::cheers:
