5" coil

yes!..especially in the "junk!"
it gets great depth too!..for a small coil!

I agree completly..if you have a properly tuned cz, pulling coins from 6" deep is no problem for the 5 inch coil... joseph

Depends but this hockey puck coil goes deep and goes where other coils will not..Remember you can usually raise the sens and have gotten 6-7 inch silver coins and works well around tot lots with iron poles, fences, next to sidewalks, trashy areas etc. Now and then show up on classifieds and can get them for about half the price of a new one....Whoops really light and certainly teaches you the aspect of overlapping your sweeps...

I found one on ebay for 70.00. I mostly hunt parks and use the 5" coil probably about 60% of the time. Very good depth and target separation plus you can crank up the sensitivity without getting as much falsing as with the larger coils.

My first time using the 5" coil was at a volley ball court. Worked great and less frustrating than use the 8" coil in that area. Worth the cost. Got mine off of ebay also.

For me the 5" coil is a must have and what I hunt with the most on all my detectors. My last hunt with my CZ-5 I pulled one silver dime and several wheat pennies from a local park that is hunted to death. I would go for it and you can do better than $100 if you go used.

If You google Fisher Detector Store, They have them for $95.20 Free Shipping. I just got one from the classified on this form for $70.00 shipped.

As for the 5"coil on CZ 21 it would have to be put on at the factory as it is hardwired to detector. Myself i have a CZ21 with 5" coil and a CZ21 with 8" coil. The 5" is nice for working in rocky areas.
