5.75in widescan or concentric for TOT lots

whats everyone using?

i am using a Cibola and wondering which coil to get for the junky sites?

I use the 5.75" DD coil on my Cibola. It works very well for me.

i have to smile  i am guessing the DD coil is faster than the mono, also what other coils i use would have to come in to account "what i am used too" ?

most of my coils are DD so maybe i needed ask about the concentric and peoples experience with those?

AJ

I have both coils that I use on my Vaquero.
I have the most time in with the 5.75" concentric coil as I bought the small DD coil earlier this year.
I like both and they are both very good to tot lots.
The DD coil is a little heavier than the concentric coil if that is a factor for you.
The DD coil gives a double beep on shallow targets which I like since it gives me some indication as to how deep the target is.
As far as separation, I would think that both offer great separation due to their size.
Hope this helps some

I used the con 4" on my golden. Sold the golden, need to sell the coil.

You don't need serious depth, why not the 5x10 dd coil. It has greater coverage than either the 5.25 dd or concentric. My coils get minimum air test depths in wood chips.
However if you want the 5.25, I recommend the DD for more coverage/sweep plus it has great depth for other applications and should perform better than a concentric in highly mineralized soils.
I also believe it has better target separation in trashy areas.

The concentric works well for me on my Cibola
