i would like to buy a 5.75 coil for my silver u max.
which is the loss of deth on coin between the 8" and the 5.75"?

There are a lot of claims made and it varies for each case, but consider an average of 2/3 coil dimension as the pracitcal depth you can attain. If you are getting more, thank Electro, God of Detecting.
