5.3 Eclipse coil on V3's

If you got one give it a try....... mine was even able to use TX Boost .... I am totally impressed with how it works on the V3! I hated it in my DFX and only used it twice because it was such a shallow coil and that machine ...... not the case on the V: I saw quarters at 8+ inches and all other coins to at least 7" but had very defined arch's and no sensitivity to interference.

Give one a try!

I been trying to hold off to see if Whites comes out with any new coils because of the Vision/Spectra. But I have heard good things about the 5.3 coil and your no help:poke: (just kidding) - actually it's posts like this making the hold off fall apart day by day. But I like hearing about other coils for the Vision/Spectra V3 good or bad. And the 5.3 sure sounds nice so now I'll have to think about it again and a little harder next time I swing by the local dealer. I don't know how much longer I can hold off. I have always been into smaller coils for trashy areas and tight spots.
Glad to hear your impressed with it

Thanks a lot. One more thing to spend money on. Ha.

The other day I found a 1902 indian at 7 1/2 inches with the 5.3. (measured) I don't believe I could get that depth with my DFX and that coil. In the same hole there was two pieces of iron, one was pretty big about the size of a quarter. It may have been detecting the iron, but I don't think so. I have a feeling that once people get this unit figured out, there is going to be some major finds. I think we will see a lot more small gold coins found. Your going to want to revisit old sites that you may have given up on.
