Went back to the construction site hoping to get a whole day to work this multi-block area. Turns out that between the drought and the fact that they compacted the bare dirt for paving, made for a challenging and frustrating hunt. Not many high tone targets left from a retiree detectorist that hits this spot almost daily. I know there's more relics under that ground, but I think I'm too late to get at them. Oldest coin this time was a 1917D cent. Did find a dateless Buffalo nickel. Found a Mrs.McCormick's Beauty Cream thimble, an early green Tootsietoy car, a toy monoplane, a couple of 10ga shotgun shells, the smallest harmonica reed I've ever seen, pocket watch parts, a Model T grease cap, a 50 caliber bullet, a lead tailor weight, a lead RR car seal, and my favorite find; the 1932 Texas chauffeur license.
