Here are some finds from a small beach swimming hole in North Georgia. I found $10.19 and 8 rings 2 were 10k and 1 was a 1/25 carot diamond engagement ring the rest were silver or fake. Not bad for Friday the 13th. All items were found using a Whites IDX Pro and a Tesoro Tigershark.

I hunted the beaches of Sarasota Florida almost every day for three weeks and found only two small rings and about $8 in change. Man, I must be doing something wrong.
 
I spoke with the park attendand and he said he has never seen anyone with a detector in the 9 years he has worked there. I guess I hit the only place people don't think of.
