4x6 depth

after using my 4x6 on an mxt ,i started wondering what kind of depth can i expect , all of the coins i happened to find today were about 3 inches deep.Any input would be greatley appreciated

Not knowing what your soil is like or where you are setting your disc & gain it is hard to say. I run the 4x6 with the disc set at 4 & gain as high as I can get it with out chatter. The soil here runs 79 + & I get coins at 8" all of the time depending the coin I will pick up faint signals at as much as 10" plus.
