4th Little Indian for the year :cam:

Decided since the day was warm and dry here in central IN , I would get
back out in the bean field and surrounding woods and try one more time to
locate the foundation to an old homestead I located on an old map. WooHoo,
I did find the old barn , what's left of the foundation that is . Had a ball digging
today, no pull tabs, lots of debris as usual but will pay off to keep hitting it , plenty
of more hunts here for sure. Added my 4th IH this year and she is pretty, always such
a thrill to pull one up, My Favorite Coin to Find . Anyway here is what I came back with
in my pouch , several whatz itz , and a pretty little Indain, Thanks for looking and HH

wow, echostar, what a nice '05 indian! anyone would be proud of that one. you found an interesting assortment of relics too... a couple of thick harness or belt studs, and a pocketwatch gear. is that the casing to the pocketwatch? nice stuff, and a good hunt. glad to see you getting out! hh,

Thanks Ghost , the IH was a total shock , dug her among the roots of a massive oak.
The place is full of large iron, about a foot of leaves and downed trees. I have no idea
what most of the whatz itz are , thought the one was the end of some utensil , but it's
not broken , the ends are both fininhed . Went back in today, will post in a minute.

Terri

yeah, you do have a nice variety there... it looks to be an old padlock back on the top, and some type of grommets and several leather studs. [from what i can see] that one piece might be the door to an old opening broach. great hunt, nice indian, and hh!

Nice find. Looks like it's in nice shape to...what is the piece on the bottom right corner, look like the top part of a silver spoon or fork?

Thanks Crocket , I thought that was what it was but both ends are finished and smooth,
and the backside is depressed ....Im not sure. Looks like it was plated copper .HH
