Today it was hot but I was not about to quit hunting because I was having fun swinging my new S.E.F. Excelerator coil. I found a nice bunch of clad, a nice gold necklace and some other odds and ends. If you will notice the clad has been in the ground awhile and I was digging alot of the coins in the 4 inch range. I did not find alot of shallow coins today. I was digging out in the center of a park and in a school ball field. I was trying to keep away from the heavy trash. I still dug a lot of trash but it was not as bad as around the play areas etc. This coil, which is 10x12, does not do well in heavy trash, which is ok because that is why they make the small coils. One thing that I really like about this coil is its balance. Its attachments are in the center of the coil and it makes for a well balanced detector and it doesn't put a lot of strain on the old shoulders. I talked with JW about the coil today and I ask him if the coil was DD or Concentric. JW told me that it is both a DD and a concentric coil and he explained why but I got lost when he started with the tecnical stuff, so I might have to have him put it in writting.LOL He said it is just called an eliptical coil. So now we know. The more I use this coil the more I like it, and if you get a chance to use one or buy one I think you would be impressed. HH Dennis in Idaho

Nice finds Dennis, I like the way that Butterfly coil looks and for $169.95 I'm thinking hard about buying one, the thinking part is easy the hard part is selling the wife on it!!!:argue::cheekkiss:

It pinpoints great. I use the same method as in the illistration and it works perfectly. HH Dennis in Idaho

Dennis, I'm VERY impressed with your findings with this coil. I'm still wondering how it will do in the Illinois soil. :bouncy: That's quite impressive for a few hours. I love seeing the 19 nickels. So, do you think the coil should be part of our arsenal? It sounds like it would be supper for doing large areas without a lot of trash. Private yards, per say? Thanks for getting sweaty for the review, but most of all, I'm glad you had a good time. That's the main thing and what it's all about. GOOD TIME!!!! HH to all, Nancy

Nancy when you go out coin shooting, think of this coil. HH Dennis in Idaho

Excelerator, and Kellyco has them for $169.95. GREAT PRICE:thumbup:

Yes they are available and they are on the website under the Excelerator coils. Somewhere around $170.00 maybe less. Not a bad price. HH Dennis in Idaho
