I hunted 2 hours at the beach, a bit of clad, nothing good except 1 wheat penny. Then a couple more hours around a relatives old house. I found all 4 silver dimes near this house. Here's the crazy part--I hunted for 4 hours, found 4 silver dimes, and my face value total came to $4.44!

Is 4 silver coins called a grand slam?

Thats a big homerun on the dimes . I found 2 Mercs in 1 hunt last year, made my day. If I found 4 silver dimes in 4 hours plus the other stuff u dug , I would feel like the bases were loaded and I knocked it out the park

That makes for a nice hunting experience beach, silver, clad and cute stuff. That's what its all about, find a few goodies and have a good time.

A dime grand slam would consist of four different silver dimes in one day. For example : A seated, barber, mercury and roosevelt dimes. Still a very good day for you and awesome finds !!
