Today wile in the woods i got a nice high tone dug down out came a big slug then as i was scaning about 50 ft west i found an old green shell looked big , when i got it home and cleaned it up i noted it was a rime fire and had an H in the middle so i looked it up and it is from a heny repeating rifle 1st made in 1860 and this kind of round was discontinued in the 1930s proof positive I am in the silver range, and a standing liberty could come out or a merc

critt thanks i just hope one of those hunters ran off in a furry to chase his deer and lost a ring or had a coin spill. the henry was used in the cival war

nice bullet finds! You sure are in the silver range. The poor hunter running through the woods after the deer takes a wipe out face down....out comes the change he had in his front pocket......here comes gunnar with his "time machine"
