41-14 ....talk about a spanking :D

Watching the game last night it seemed that once again the media wanted someone other than a SEC team to win the National Championship-didn't happen. The Gators showed they belonged in the game...maybe OU didn't  ...anyway Congrats to the Gators and I know Ed will be disappointed that he couldn't get rid of 200 more salt eaten pennies :D

That is the very reason we need a Division I playoff system. The sports analysts get a vote and it is obvious they do not vote for what actually happens on the field, but their own preconceived desires!!

If He had played this game a month earlier, I think his Heisman hope would have gone up like a match to gunpowder. And that also goes for the Notre Dame QB as well. Who knows who'd have won it then.

... their undefeated season is a huge reason for a true playoff in Div 1A. Wouldn't it be neat to see the Gators and Boise play the final game? All questions would then be answered. Go Gators .... I'm inclined to think the Gators would win that one too. Perhaps I'm prejudiced?

Surely enough to start another conference.

Let's not forget them.

Winning team gets early parole.

Losing teams get a date with Old Sparky.

We could name the teams after their old alma mater. How about the San Quentin Stabbers or the Joliet Jay Walkers or my favorite the Folsom Fibbers? Notice that no ethnic group is disparaged with these choices.

The games could be sponsored by the Crips and Bloods phamacuetical enterprises.

The possibilities are limitless.
