From the land of the Bluenose.....yesterday had an hour to kill before work and with Marie hopping along at the malls with the Easter Bunny in tow I decided to hit a local school on a rather overcast day!

Hit the sports field wondering which detecting game I should partake in today; "Follow the Seagull", "Drunken Sailor Grid", "Dodge the Doggie Dew" or the classic Signal Left Turn right Signal Right turn Left. Decided to play the classic and it was not too long before the coins were jumping under my coil.

After about 30 coins I headed to the area where there was a few tables that the students eat their lunches on and observed that art is alive in Nova Scotia as this spotted table surely represents the schools sports team name "The Leopards"!

Anyway my time limit of an hour was soon up (allowed 10 minutes each way for travel) with a nail clipper and 40 coins @ $4.65 ending up in my pocket.

Within the next hour as I showered, shined the boots and packed a lunch the weather had taken a very nasty turn for the worse as shown in this photo taken this morning. Just thank goodness that this time next week I'll be a swishing (local term for water detecting)and a digging in the Dominican and not going into work and facing a thousand stranded angery air travelers!
