$40,000 worth of old coins found

Fascinating, thanks for sharing this story. I live only about 40 minutes from there, just over the border in Virginia. The area is also a very good place to hunt for Civil War relics, when one can get permission from property owners to detect, it is not far from the Gettysburg Battlefield site.
